WHAT IS GUA SHA?

Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese technique that has been used for centuries to bring new life to dull, devitalized and aging skin with gentle stimulating massage. 'Gua' means scrape and 'Sha' means Sand. On the body, Gua Sha is used vigorously to scrape the skin which causes bruising or purple and red spots, which is called Sha.
